Sinus infection is one of the most common infections affecting our society today. Millions of people suffer from sinusitis each year and it is especially prevalent during the winter months. Apple Cider Vinegar

This one is an old favourite that has been around for years and years. All you ever need to do is to get a glass of water, then mix in around 4 table spoons of apple cider vinegar and stir well. Warm water should be used for best results. This not only helps with a sinus infection, but also with the common cold, as well as flu. If you do this for around a week you are bound to notice a good improvement.

Steam Inhalation

Steam inhalation is another great home remedy for sinus infection. This method has been proven to work by providing an excellent way to relieve pain and infection. It works the same way as having a great relief while taking a hot shower or bath. Likewise, you can get similar effect by boiling some water as well.

First, boil the water in a small pot to the point that it is steaming. Then you will want to put a cloth over your head and slowly breathe in the steam. For best result, you should work on this for up to 10 minutes. If you really want to kick it up a notch you can also add some vapour rub into the water too. Lemonade

This one not only helps you out, but it also tastes really good. Lemonade is not only good in preventing sinus, but curing it as well. It contains many anti-viral elements that are great in warding off sinus infection. So, calm your body by making yourself a glass of lemonade every day, but make sure to use real lemon though.

Olive Oil

This is another old time remedy that is very effective in clearing your nose. Olive oil has been used for centuries as a great way to get rid of a sinus infection. You will want to put a few drops of olive oil onto your hands. Gently massage the area above your nose and below your eyes. This will make your nose run, but once you blow your nose you will notice a huge relief.
