Your body’s internal chemistry is determined by what nutrition you are getting from your intake of foods, and this is not age as many people have once believed. In fact, the quality and resiliency of virtually every systems, organs and cells in your body are determined by how these internal body’s chemistry behaves.

Every single part of your body is affected by this right from the condition of your bones to how healthy your skin looks are all determined by your eating habits. As such this shows how important your diet plans are if you want to stay young. Bad diets will lead you to feel the full effects of aging.

But first, what are the diets that can age you fast? Diets include, eating fast foods, eating carbohydrate overloaded stuffs, highly sweetened foods, waiting until you are famished to eat, as well as eating whenever you are feeling stressed. So watch your diet and rid your unhealthy eating habits. Here’s a list of foods that can age you real fast and you can prevent just that by following these tips to stay young.

Fast Foods

Fast foods commonly contain trans fats and these so-called “bad fats” could cause internal inflammation within the body that could often lead to the inability of the body to regenerate organs and cells. As such, this could ultimately lead to shorter lifespan. These are the foods to avoid at all costs as they can bring great health problems. Fortunately, you can counter this trans fat menace by avoiding hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils in your diets as they are definitely bad for health. Also look out for labels such as hardened fat, solid vegetable fats or anything along those lines as those are what some food manufacturers like to use to make you unaware of the unhealthy fats that their products contain.

Sweetened Foods

Foods that contain high amount of sugars could make you get older faster too as the body cannot break down such huge amount of sugars in a short period of time. The most obvious skin conditions that can result are the forming of wrinkles. Sugars gum up collagen in your skin making it lose its elasticity thereby wrinkling it faster. Your skin would not rejuvenate itself as quickly since it has become damaged. As such, it is best to stay away from high sugary stuffs, especially refined sugars. Take honey, maple syrup or agave instead. These are the better alternatives to pure white sugars.

Carbohydrate Overloaded Diet

Just like sugar, excessive carbohydrate intake is another culprit that tend to play havoc with your body. It makes your body’s insulin level spiking high and then dropping down like having a wild ride. It could create problems such as a burst of sugar-high followed by insatiableness.

Besides, it can also lead to type 2 diabetes, heart problems as well as other metabolic syndromes. So, have better diet plans that include a rich complex carbohydrates such as vegetables, fruits, legumes and whole grains instead of a diet overloaded with white refined carbohydrates. Really, they do no good for your body in the long run.

Eating Only When Famished

Eating only when famished can often lead to obesity in many people as hungriness often causes overeating, and why is that so? Well, the moment your body sense your hungriness, it releases a hormone called ghrelin. This ghrelin hormone can take up to half an hour to normalize and this time lag is what causes people to overeat. It would be wise to keep healthy snacks on hand so that you can snack a bit along the way before your hunger pangs trigger your ghrelin level.

Eating Whenever You Are Feeling Stressed

It is not always a good time to eat when you are feeling stressed as the stress hormone known as Cortisol is being released into your body. This Cortisol hormone could prevent digestion, impact on nutrient absorption and also impact the level of acidity in your stomach. In addition, it also causes you to opt for unhealthy food choices and overeating. Therefore, if you do not want this to happen, always stay calm and relaxed. Sit down and take your time to eat your meal like a human and remember; don’t eat as in a rush.
