  • Soak your feet in Listerine as the antiseptic ingredient in it will help get rid of infection. Menthol, eucalyptus and salicylate can be effectively used to fight foot fungus. Soaking your feet twice daily by placing your feet in a tub and pouring Listerine on them. It will sting, so rinse off quickly if the burning becomes too difficult to bear and thoroughly dry with a clean dry towel.
  • Use baking soda on your feet daily. Do this after soaking and drying your feet. This will help to keep your feet dry and prevent fungus. Baking soda contains antiseptic properties
  • You can also sprinkle the baking soda in your shoes to keep them dry and reduce the opportunity for fungus to grow.
  • Keep your shoes dry by airing them when you take them off. You can also use alcohol to clean the inside of your shoes then allow them to dry properly.
  • Proper hygiene is crucial to help prevent foot infection. Properly dry your toes and feet and always wear clean cotton socks.
  • Use powder instead of creams on your feet as creams will cause your feet to sweat. Powder will prevent sweating resulting in healthier feet.
  • Soak your feet in tea tree oil or lavender oil. These have great antiseptic properties and are great foot fungus home remedy.
