  • Lemon, black pepper and salt can be used to kill bacteria which causes dry cough. Cut a lemon and use a slice filling it with salt and black pepper. Suck this every two to three hours.
  • Onion and honey: Onion is a great remedy for a cough. Juice one fresh onion and add one to two tablespoons of honey. Pour the combination into a half glass of warm water. Drink twice daily.

  • Ginger, red pepper and apple cider all combined into a paste using 2 tablespoons of water. Mix these ingredients together. Taking this mixture twice daily should help relieve the dry cough.
