Apply aloe vera gel on the skin 20 minutes before and after sun exposure. For better effect, buy Aloe Vera and cut it off open and apply it over the affected area. Vinegar is another major home remedy that works better to heal sunburn. Dip a towel in vinegar and apply it on the sunburns. Avoid contact of vinegar in eyes and broken skin. Prepare of spray by yourself that contains half vinegar, half water solution and sprinkle it onto skin.

Hydrotherapy is yet another great way to make your skin cool and fresh. Take cool water bath after returning home can help soothe and keep your skin cool.
